Her bubbly personality yet calm demeanor made her the perfect fit for us! What prompted me to contact Kim initially, was to have someone take charge of the day-of timeline and insure everything went smoothly on our wedding day. I did not want to worry about the deliveries, small details, decoration setup etc. She was so efficient with every single detail, quickly responded to all communication, and really guided us to make the appropriate and realistic decisions for our big day! I really value her expertise and opinions, not to mention her creativity and assistance with our welcome bags! I was able to actually enjoy every single moment of our wedding day and have a day without any worry, because we hired Olive & Rose Events! "Kimberly and her team were such a pleasure to work with. Our wedding had many moving parts (multiple rental companies, live band, caterers, transportation company, florist, make up and hair, venue operators etc) and they coordinated with all of them so that my spouse and I did not have to think of anything but getting married on our big day.
Their services are well worth the money. In addition to doing an incredible job, Kimberly and her team are very kind, and pleasant people to be around. They are very positive an upbeat, but can definitely be tactfully assertive with an unresponsive vendor if needed! We had a few vendors who were less than responsive and Kimberly and her team advocated for our needs in a graceful and professional manner, which not only got the jobs done, but maintained a pleasant relationship with all vendors at the end of the day.

"I cannot say enough good things about Olive & Rose! Kim planned my baby shower and it could not have been more perfect. I was hoping for a slightly non- traditional party (co-ed, no cheesy games, 40+ guests!) and had concerns that this would be difficult to achieve but Kim pulled it off with ease! She was able to deliver on all of my requirements, plus her deep experience with event planning meant that she was immediately full of ideas that gave shape to some of my more open-ended requests. Kim was able to incorporate some elements of a traditional baby shower while still creating the casually elegant ambiance that I was hoping for; people of all generations were able to enjoy themselves. Kim worked with my mom who lives out of town and made the entire process completely stress free, we were both so impressed! The event was being held outdoors and we needed to rent tents, tables, and chairs. Because of her relationships with local vendors we were able to get rentals that were both adorable and in our budget. She was quick to respond, listened to our preferences and had great ideas. I can’t wait to work with Kim again in the future! If you’re looking for an event planner, I cannot recommend Olive & Rose enough!!!"

"I worked with Kim Allera for the 2-3 months leading up to my wedding and day-of coordination. It was the best decision we made - she made everything so easy and stress-free. Most brides are so stressed for the few weeks leading up to the wedding and I was completely calm and able to enjoy the time with my then fiancé. Kim made sure all of the vendors knew the exact schedule, she helped set up as needed the day of, along with an assistant of hers, and took everything to our room when the reception was over. "I worked with Kim Allera for my recent wedding and she was AMAZING. She went above and beyond my expectations of what a planner should do and was so helpful leading up to the wedding. She took so much stress off of me and handled everything from contacting my vendors to running errands making sure everyone got what they needed on time. There was a vendor or two who were tough to get responses from at times and she was persistent and got everything handled which was a huge help for me trying to plan during crazy work weeks. I am a last minute person and she helped me get everything together and stay on top of what needed done. I would highly recommend using her if you want to wake up the day of the wedding feeling stress-free knowing you covered all of your bases!! She was very responsive and I don't know what I would have done without her-- especially the week of the wedding!"

"I cannot give enough compliments to Kim Allera, who was our day of coordinator (also had Christine with her that day, who was fabulous!). We were under the assumption that if we hired a day of coordinator, that was what we got. Not the case - she was so much more! Kim helped us from the get go, was always there with any questions we had, and gave advice any time we needed. She was so organized and our wedding day was flawless. I cannot put a price on the fact that I had pretty much no worries that day, so the value portion to us was through the roof! When I initially met with Kim, we talked basics, then she reassured me she'd be reachable by phone/email at time for advice or whatever I needed. We communicated pretty frequently for several months. Closer to the wedding both my husband I met with her and tied up loose ends. She then met with us again at the venue to get a final idea of what our ideas were. As there was a Friday wedding at our venue, EVERYTHING had to be done the day of. She and Christine came and transformed an empty barn into exactly what I had in my mind...amazing! The great service continued up until she left at the end of the night - they took all of our gifts/cards/valuables back to our hotel and packed safely into our room. Do yourself a favor and get a day of coordinator!!

"Kim Allera was my day of coordinator for my wedding this past Saturday. I do not have enough time to write all the great things about her. She had been there for me for the whole year before the wedding. She was so on top of things and very accommodating to me. I even realized two days before the wedding I was one centerpiece short and she went out and got and painted me one!!! Weddings are so stressful as is and hiring her was the best choice I made during the wedding process."
